I believe it when it's reported that ESPN and Fox say expansion is a non-starter without BYU. The data is VERY clear that BYU is the only school that won't cost the conference more than it provides.

Other candidates trashing BYU are only decreasing the chances of they themselves even being the Utes of this go-round - last pick, and only invited because they were the best of the remaining unpalatable options.

Member schools trashing BYU are only making it more likely that their sugar momma and daddy kick them to the curb when the GOR expires, and they're left on the outside of a P4 looking in.
