I think it's more about TV markets, digital markets, fanbase, can the school put butts in seats when traveling, academics etc... Winning is a moving part but don't think it matters much. Byu, it's stadium, it's prestige, it's fans, it's appeal etc means more to the Big 12 than winning or coming in 2nd place to some conference title that most of CB claims is worthless.
