Good chance we are not talking about the Big 12 with a normal post- Utah/TCU MWC schedule. Independence helped us stand out more than we would have in my opinion. I also think it works going forward if necessary. We are considered P5 for scheduling, we have some incredible match ups that we'd be able to forward to, and TV exposure isn't going away. I'm all for the Big 12 but I don't see it as a make or break issue. The make or break issue in the new environment is money. And I think there would be a commitment to remaining competitive on that score as long as we can remain competitive on the field while adhering to our unique standards.
