Dr Pepper does have a contract that hasn't been fulfilled for the CCG
My guess is Dr Pepper either gets paid off or they get to continue their sponsorship to fulfill their contract that has been on hold.
Those that think FedEx is actually in line to sponsor the 2017 CCG are likely not very informed.
