Memphis has an off campus (3 miles away) 59k capacity Liberty Bowl football stadium (kind of run down from some reports and municipally owned) and an even further off campus (8 miles) 19k capacity FedEx Forum basketball stadium (municipally owned and shared with the Grizzlies).
Compared to BYU...63k capacity LaVell Edwards Stadium (football) on campus (one of the most scenic views in all of college football) and 19k capacity Marriott Center (basketball) on campus. Both owned by BYU.
BYU also has an exceptional indoor practice facility already in use for football and have already started construction for new additional practice facility for basketball.

Memphis on the other hand...
...the next project raising funds for and the construction of a 74,000-square-foot indoor practice facility. The goal of $40 million dollars in private donations committed towards the renovation of the Billy J. Murphy Athletic Complex includes a new indoor practice facility, and a new basketball practice and training facility.
Meaning they don't have it yet and are trying to raise funds to get there and they "hope" that FedEx or the B12 will be their benefactor to achieve those things...
