And Uconn's football program doesn't do that. The ONLY way I see this as even being remotely possible is if BYU is taken in football only and UConn is taken just for its Olympic sports and has to dump it's football in the MAC, Subelt, or Indy. This scenario is probably remote and of last resort, but it would give WVU a travel partner, give Fox eastern time slots for basketball, solve Texas political issues with Houston, get BYU football eyeballs and value while not having to do any travel out of the ordinary, and deal with the small minority complaining about Sunday play issues.
Common sense and money sense would say BYU and Cincy with East/West divisions, but we all know Big 12 never demonstrates common sense.
