We're facing better competition this year... I'll evaluate on a game-by-game
basis. I agree that Bronco was a good DC, but giving up 3rd and longs so regularly was almost certainly demoralizing to the guys who were stuffing the runs on 1st and 2nd down.
Keeping points off the board is the main thing, but unless we're regularly getting burned over the top, I'm certainly looking forward to a more aggressive defense especially being physical with receivers and challenging for the ball in the secondary.
