Texas is stupid, they keep putting their own interests above that of the conference
They already killed the SWC, you could argue that they killed the "Big 12" -- talking of the original Big 12. Now it seems like they are trying to kill the Big 12-2.
Beyond that, I think Texas has lost its touch. Dodds, the former Texas AD, knew how to get what he wanted. He knew the right people, what he needed to promise or give them to get them to do what he wanted. The new AD doesn't have that touch, which is why UH allegedly only has 2 votes.
