It's a shame that the coaches have decided to punt on this season by keeping TH.

The fans and team deserve better than to be held hostage by Taysom Hill's pysche. The coaches will not pull him because to do so would be a slap in the face since they asked him to come back! You can't bench a guy 3 games in and say "See ya!" when he could've been off doing something else with his time. That's the rock and a hard place they put themselves in (or at least they think that's where it's at).

I appreciate the emotional impact this would have on him, but the program and the fans are now stuck paying the price for one kid's pride. He clearly should've been benched during the UCLA game. No question. At this point, however, every down that they continue to put him out there is an admission that there is no going back. The coaches have made their bed and not only will this year continue to be a failure but next year will as well.

This season's performance is primarily on Taysom. All the excuses are sickening and reek of a desperate attempt to salvage a below average QB's legacy. 5.8 yd avg & 7 INT's to 4 TD's is an abomination. An average QB has at least another TD per game with the long ball that Taysom just cannot throw, doesn't see, or chooses not to attempt because he thinks he can pick up a few yards on the ground.

To sit back and say all is well with this season (but, but P5 talent!) is to be a poor fan. We are 3-1 and still looking at a special season, at worst, with an average QB. Period.

There's a reason they coach and you don't. A little restraint & patience is (unctoothman, Sep 25, 2016 at 4:49pm)
