Accepted to BYU. Wanted to major in Music. Visited BYU and spoke to one of the head guys in the music department. She learned it was unlikely she would be admitted to the music education (violin) department. Also, even though she had been raised on BYU at home, she thought the guy, and many others she met during her visit, were arrogant jerks.

Visited BYUI, loved it and the faculty, and chose BYUI. Frankly, it killed me at the time (although the academic scholarship took a little of the sting off).

But turned out well. She loved BYUI, got an education degree, married, school teacher in Rexburg while her husband finished up (and he recently landed a VERY good paying job in Boise.)

Oh, and they enjoyed cheering for BYU at one of the fb games last year.
