Mitch is fine when the ball is coming at him, but chasing down the
overhead stuff is something he struggle with immensely when a corner played him physical (coaches began scouting him well in this regard beginning his Jr year, I think). Even if the corner is considerably smaller than Mitch (which is usually the case, of course), he generally gave Mitch fits at the point of attack on the ball.

Mitch's problem that I can see is when he's zeroing on a ball with a defending on his hip he doesn't run through the ball like he should. Instead he tries to lean to it--& in the process the corner usually gets the upper hand right when the ball was arriving.

It's like in the effort to zero on the ball his legs shut off--& in the process he concedes not only his height advantage, but his leverage advantage too. Time and again he would do this--& lose a chance on the ball as a consequence.
