Riley vs Heaps.
-Team completely divided
-Entitled young QB-vs-hard working less talented QB who worked hard and the majority of the team respected.
-The team played for one of the QB's and wouldn't give the effort with the other.
-Coaching staff had no choice in the matter.

Taysom vs Tanner.
-two very good QB's neither feels entitled, they work through the entire off-season together and support and cheer for each other
-Coaches decide on starter and the chosen second string is nothing but positive
-This team hasn't given up on the chosen starter.
-Coaches do have a choice and have decided that Taysom is our QB

Look, I completely understand that Tanner is a QB who can throw the ball better than Taysom. Taysom has struggled, but there are a lot of different factors that have contributed to his struggling. The coaches still believe that Taysom gives us the best chance to win. I believe they know a heck of a lot more than I do regarding that decision.
