Uh... I don't know if this is true.
They currently have 2 conference losses. Utah has 1. So Utah would have to lose 2 games as well as USC winning out, since Utah also owns the tiebreaker by virtue of the head-head.
Not saying this couldn't happen (UW, ASU and CU look to be difficult games and Oregon is Oregon) but unless I'm mistaken there is more to it than USC winning out.
