believe that is why everyone complains about it. It's the fact that the small gym is empty and there is no one there. If the WCC schools could consistently have decent teams outside of St. Mary's, Gonzaga, and BYU that could actually sell out tickets to their games so the small gym environment was actually comparable to a Duke or Villanova atmosphere like was brought up, I don't think you would have any BYU fans complaining about the small gym size. In order for that to happen, the bottom dwellers in the WCC have to start putting money into the basketball program and becoming good teams. I believe Mark Few has gone on record complaining about this (http://www.sltrib.com/sports/3660723-155/gonzagas-few-rest-of-wcc-is). He seems as frustrated as BYU fans are at this. Outside of St. Mary's, Gonzaga, and BYU, the conference is really bad and pretty much a joke.
