No, it just gives control to ESPN
They can no longer just invite who they want, they need to invite teams ESPN is willing to pay for. They can still get pro rata money for the new teams, or possibly even more, they just have to work with ESPN before they invite them. Fox is on the hook for pro rata money, regardless.
