I wish I knew more on this but it seems that because ESPN is paying out

so much for Conference contacts, BYU is probably a good deal for them. ESPN is looking at how to mitigate it's losses on what I'll call these "bubble contract" with the P5 conferences, I don't think they would view the BYU agreement was a bad deal - there are so many bad deals ahead of it.

BYU fills a good niche. Cheaper than P5 games and more eyeballs than G5 games.
