You have as much talent as you've had since we've been in the WCC. My hope as an opposing fan is that it takes at least a year for that talent to gel.

As for your BYU assessment, you are right about the D. Hard to watch. What's interesting is that the LP3 played good D in high school and they now have their HS coach on the BYU staff. They are capable of playing solid D. They have plenty of athleticism. It may take some time to figure it out.

I think your assessment of Dastrup is WAY premature. He's a very skilled big man with offers from Ohio St, Kansas, etc. He's also very out of shape and currently has terrible hair. I'm not sure what impact he'll have this year, but he'll have a significant impact in the future. He's a very good passer and has range out to three. Should be a good compliment to Mika's inside game.
