I've forgotten. How accurate is the Man Mountain in foul shots?
I suspect Coach Rose is looking at his larger number of Bigs this year, and wondering how they as a group might be utilized to somewhat offset him. They may not be able to guard him. They can foul him when he touches the ball.

If you add Kafusi to Dastrup to Shaw, thath could be 15 fouls right there, to maybe wear the Man Mountain out a bit - and if he has a poor FT percent, each time he misses Cougs have another shot at a rebound.

My bet is that Coach Rose does not redshirt Dastrup for this very reason - and considers any points he might score as gravy.

When BYU is on offense, whichever forward or center the Man Mountain guards could go to the top of the key, pulling him away from helping out on the other forward down low, so he has to move around more, and needs to 'show' on screens to our accurate shooting guards oro they get uncontested shots. (Last year, I do remember that the Man Mountain looked really comfortable camping out low in the paint on defense - BYU needs to change that, because it plays to his strength.)
