Coming back from a mission or injury is really tough. It's frustrating to know what you used to be able to do, but not be able to perform at the level that you're used to yet. It would be easy to sit on the bench and mope. It would even be easy to just sit and do what everyone else does. But he knows that he can't help the team on the court as much as he'd like, so he takes a different role. He's the guy that gets people fired up and supports his team from the bench. He takes his bench role to a whole other level. For highly recruited athletes, it can be tough to sit the bench. He's embraced it, and is doing his best to magnify that role.
