A scholarship that could have been extended to Collette was given to Sharp. Sharp was a warm body who was going to be around for four years, sure. But the scholarship for Collette was available. There would have been a two-year interruption and Rose may have wanted to avoid that, but there's warm basketball bodies all over the place.
