I would consider the following breakdown a good goal for this staff:
4/5 Star: 5
3 Star: 15
2 Star: 5
Based on Scout rankings, the 2017 Class will probably end up looking something like this (depending by how much we over-sign):
4/5 Star = 2
3 Star = 20
2 Star = 7
Getting that many 3 star kids is huge for the program because of what it does for depth. If a kid is a 3 stars or better prospect, he is definitely a D1/P5 caliber athlete. BYU needs to be fielding teams with P5 calibre athletes at every position.
