Speed is 1/3 the equation... technique, physique, & mental toughness
other 2/3rds... however those other others break down in fractions....
...it's hard to be a really good corner without all those qualities... if only it was as easy as recruiting the state 100 meter champions each year.
Same goes for receiver.
Can't tell you how many speedsters I've seen flame out at corner.
OTOH, as BYU fans well know... corners without speed suck.
