Utah would have loved to have taken Tuifua. After the decommit from Oregon, it was pretty obvious he wasn't coming to Utah. He wasn't on the Utah recruiting Big Boards on Rivals or Scout at any point in time in the last month. I doubt there were more than a handful of Utes tuning in to the Poly game hoping for him to commit to Utah. We knew it was a done deal. The coaches knew it was a done deal.

But saying it isn't a BYU recruiting victory is unnecessary. Utah wanted him and would have taken him so it's a victory for BYU. The only real discussion is that this was a victory that occurred long ago and Utah had moved on.
