There were several times last night that the guy was on his right hip and all he needed to do was drop step and seal the guy but instead he turned into him in the middle of the key where defense easily collapses or just reaches out a hand and knocks the ball away. And even then he often tried to face up and bring the ball from his waist up and lost it almost every time or got blocked. It doesn't matter if you're 6'10" if you're bringing the ball up from your waist. Anybody can block or just disrupt that motion. Sadly, Yoeli seems to be getting all of this quicker than Mika. Very encouraging to watch him feel pressure on his back and more often turn the right way and find his way to an easy finish at the basket.
