back in 1969. We had done the same thing in prior years. Was a bit surprised to find out that it had been occupied by a bunch of naked CA hippies.

The leaders were all up in the picnic area under the trees. Us guys had grabbed a football and headed for the surf for a football game. About half way there someone notice that we were the only ones wearing clothes.

Not sure how "spiritual" it was, but it was definitely the shortest opening social that we ever had.
