The WCC isn't even an afterthought it its primary markets
We've got 3 teams in the Bay Area, two in LA, and schools in Portland and San Diego. These are big markets, but no one cares.
The only way to become relevant is for these schools to somehow step up their resources and commitment to men's basketball. Improve recruiting and coaching and win some games.
Even with Pavilion-type gyms, the game atmosphere could be pretty good if the stands are full.
