60% of the Big East is likely to make the NCAA tournament.
We need 4 or 5 programs to step up. It's okay for Gonzaga, St. Mary's, and BYU to be the big three, we just need more programs consistently in the top-50 RPI and almost everyone in the top-120 or higher.
Big East has 5 in the top-50 RPI, 8 schools in the top-100. St. John's is 121 and DePaul is 217.
My vote is for Pepperdine, Portland, USF, and USD to step it up. That gets good basketball in all of the WCC's markets.
