This game says very little about the WCC, other than BYU is a "dangerous" but young team -- which those who know basketball likely knew already.

Ultimately, what people will end up thinking about the WCC will depend on how both St. Mary's and Gonzaga perform in the NCAA tournament -- if they go deep then the WCC will get plenty of respect. To a lesser degree, it will also depend on how BYU does in the NIT. It is the post season that ultimately is used to determine just how good the various conferences were.
