I agree we need to leave more time on the shot clock when we work for the shot but I think the slow down tactic helped us a ton both mentally and emotionally. It calmed some of our more notorious hero ballers down. It helped us to set up our defense and focus more on each possession. We forced them into getting rattled and getting sloppy with the ball, forcing things and making mistakes (instead of that happening to us).

Overall I applaud the move to slow it down and take some air out of the ball but do agree we should start looking for our shot a little earlier in the shot clock.
