The problem with BYU Idaho is that it shouldn't be carrying the BYU name. Not the same school, not the same admissions
standards, and not the same academic standards. The fact that the school carries the BYU name leads to brand dilution and confusion with employers (which I am witnessing with recruiters at grad school right now). They should have kept the Ricks name.
