Bluffdale, etc? The houses are all that way. Unless you are willing to spend 400k+ or buy some old fixer-upper you aren't getting a big yard, space from your neighbors, etc.

I'd avoid Vineyard's "Stucco Estates." In many of the neighborhoods the houses are literally only 10 feet apart.
