Different doses for every patient, but if too much is taken it desensitizes you.
Lots of people describe it as feeling like they are made of plastic.
Sports are a lot about emotion. Suppressing emotion too much seems like it would effect an athlete pretty negatively.

it does reduce libido. That is a side effect of those meds.
