1. Any comparison to Jimmer is stupid and unfair.
2. He clearly had a better freshman year than Jimmer
3. He played hurt much of his sophomore year. People forget that. He chose to play through the pain/injury (tough kid). Jimmer did the same thing his final game as a cougar and played poorly (remember that last game?).
4. He is a much better defender than Jimmer
5. Jimmer had a better supporting cast (i.e. completely different team around him). Not necessarily more talented but definitely way more experienced and able to play together better.
6. Lastly and most importantly, Jimmer was the national player of the year. Any comparison to that player is completely unfair and unrealistic.

We are lucky to have Nick on the team and I for one am extremely excited to see how he develops over the next two years especially since he will be playing with players who are now much more familiar with what it takes to play at that level.
