But to counter your point, the beach is directly connected to the city of Miami. The hiking trails, ski resorts, camping, etc. is all part of what makes Utah and Salt Lake county great, not specifically Provo itself.

So once again, specific and unique to the actual city of Provo, I don't find much that lures me there outside of football season.
