No one was going to take Mika's spot. Kaufusi is Kaufusi. Dastrup was not a returning player, he was gone for two years, didn't touch a bball and came back badly needing to get into shape. Childs went right from HS to BYU and was going to get playing time given all the circumstances. It was perfect timing for him.
Emery and Haws are returning players and established players. Sure others will get PT, but not as much as CP is wanting no matter how much he proves himself, barring injury to other players.
