They're there because of the deal the city offered. Luxury suites would have
sold just fine in SF also.

Yeah it sure is weird. I live here. Santa Clara is not a tourist town. Neither is San Jose. It's a weird fit.

It's still weird. Very few nearby hotels and in a boring area. No restaurants, bars, or night life of any kind
