My friend left investment banking after three years and tried this. He crushed it for a year but then sales slowly tapered off. He's considered looking for employment again but probably has a million worth of inventory he's slowly selling off. Started with $100k.

Amazon is fighting the program of giving away free product for reviews to get listed higher on their organic searches. The loop holes are coming to and end but I imagine there is still some money to be made. Just don't quit your job to do it full time with the riskiness of Amazon shutting down the methodology completely.

The core tenet of the whole program is to give away enough free product to become a leader in a category through high number of reviews so your product picks up the highest organic searches. Buy crap from Asia for a few dollars and sell for $15-20. Making $10 of passive income for every sale with most the work Fulfilled by Amazon at their warehouses.

The podcasts are worth listening to in my opinion.
