But that's just not very realistic. There's only a handful of players in the
league who are significantly better scorers than Hayward - to the point that Hayward would undeniably be relegated to the #2 spot on the team - and most of those franchises don't have a realistic shot at signing a guy like Hayward right now. If winning is the ONLY factor he is considering, then I agree: he should sign with the Warriors for the veteran minimum and try to find a role among their superstars. But that is unlikely to happen.
