You've definitely given me a lot to think about. I really hope we win out in September this year. If we can finally get a W against Utah that would be huge and give a big confidence boost to the coaches.

To give you some background on my fandom I did not grow up watching football. Unfortunately my Dad was too busy to teach me the sport, I don't blame the guy he did have six kids. I finally learned the basics when I transfered into BYU. My first game was BYU and Utah 2011 it was hard to watch but that didn't stop me from really getting into the sport.

I still love my college team and I'll absolutely go out of my way to attend as my BYU games as possible each season (although I do have bad luck, I flew in for the UCLA game last year. should have waited one more week). However it has been tough for me to stay engaged for the full season because we are not competing to win a division and post season play is predetermined.

I'm really happy to hear that there is so much excitement in the program right now! I'll need to lurk more often...
