I think everyone forgets how dominant BYU was early in that game. In the middle of the 2nd qtr BYU had over 200 yds of offense while Utah had 25, we just couldn't hold on to the ball. Byu was doing anything they wanted and Utah was getting nothing. As the game wore on, the defense lost any hope that the offense would hold on to the ball long enough to score and just packed it in. Utah did their job and took advantage of every mistake. People talk like Utah beat up on BYU that year, but that was just not the case.
