Before the scoring drive near the end of the first half where Utah took the lead 14-10, BYU had gained 199 yards like you said. On the other hand, Utah had gained 144 yards almost 6 times more that what you had stated. Before the end of the first half Utah added a touchdown and 63 more yards to total of 207 and BYU added 3 (204) yards to run out the clock. during that half Utah had 2 turnovers and a missed field goal, and BYU had 3 turnovers 1 resulting in a touchdown for Utah. based on the numbers and watching the game you could make the argument that BYU had played better than Utah in the first half, or most of the first half, but it was far from dominated by BYU as you claim.
