Fair enough. Losing to one of them and beating Utah gets you to 10, though.
All in all, I'm starting to see 10 wins as the threshold. Less than 10, and people likely feel like BYU "didn't beat anybody." 10 or more, and you can point to at least a few quality wins, no horrible losses. Probably.
And, as sad as it is, Utah is a major factor. Our fan base has a sort of mental wound from losing to Utah.
