If BYU beats Utah, people will be much more forgiving of the other results. Seriously, if we beat Utah and win 8 games (losses to, say, BSU, Miss St., LSU, Wisconsin, and . . . . ECU?) I think people would generally be accepting, if not exactly excited, about the results.
