By tents of a second. Of course records fall.
That doesn't mean people 20 years ago can't complete with people of today. I just watched a bunch of 38 year olds who played BBall together in HS run circles around 20 years olds who played HS BBall together. It wasn't close and both teams finished comparably in their respective state tourneys. The change in athleticism is small over that short a period.
