Had to call Utah State this morning for some information regarding my degree. Hadn't talked to them in a year or so, so I had forgotten all about this.

Calling USU and discussing your student information requires your student ID number and your security phrase. It was in that moment listening to the recording prompt that I started smiling. I set my security phrase up as "BYU is #1"

The lady comes on the line, we discuss a few things, and she goes to ask for my ID, and then asks for my phrase. ... I just paused and started chuckling.

To that I hear a second later, "Ahhh... come on."

"BYU is #1, is that correct?" I reply, trying to keep it under control.

"Well, it's not... but it is," she answered, and we both busted up laughing.

"It's okay," she continued," I'm a University of Miami girl, so no worries."

Got what I needed resolved, so it's all good. And BYU is still (and always will be to USU) #1.

That will never get old. Maybe I'll just call USU once every few years just to go through this conversation for a cheap laugh.
