If he coulda learned to throw away on a broken play (or Doman had reigned him in
more for it)--I think a lot more fanz would have fonder memories for him.
Truth is, he put us in a lot of games that he ended up taking us out of unfortunately as well. ND & TCU are the ones that come most to mind in that regard. He really killed both defenses admirably (& ND's was no joke)--only to blow it in the end by pushing the throttle when we just needed to eat a play here & there.
