When you have to use a lawsuit as a bargaining chip to get in than you know you're in trouble and don't belong. BYU has had its chances and if it was going to happen it would have by now (they don't want us in their club we're not valuable enough and our beliefs are a major liability to any P5 not an asset) if another realignment comes along I'm not holding my breath or expecting anything different than what's happened already. BYU and the church's beliefs are polar opposite to what's trending in liberal academia we could be the most valuable expansion candidate, have 100K seat sellouts be a top 25 perennially ranked team and we'd still get shown the door. I think the majority of BYU fans have come to accept this reality and realize we just need to be content with this as our sports existence.
