I've heard that from others. I enjoyed the ending the Coen brothers did more than the original.
The original strayed less from the book, but I felt the 2010 version captured the feeling and the characters more. I love the Duke, but Bridges played the better Cogburn. Add in the other performances and the Coen brother's direction on camera angles and they could have included an 80's music montage and I probably would have enjoyed it still.
