But the first message was "I'm really depressed right now." Followed by "I need someone to help a brother" in the comments of that post he said "I'm going to kill myself." Then a third lost said "redacted is going away, away forever. Imma miss you guys." Then in a comment in that post he said "I'm going to miss my family."

I believe that was enough to make me feel he was serious. I had never seen him post anything like that before.

The backstory was his ex wife has been saying horrible things about him and spreading rumours. It culminated into him drinking heavily and then apparently he got the pills. Oxy 80's are insanely dangerous and have killed a lot of people in my community the last two years.

I didn't think what I did was much. But the fact that everyone took it seriously helped to save a life. And that was what mattered the most.
