Digits is an tmobile app/service that has a few functions, but the function that could be awesome for you is that you can text/call through the tmobile number on the non-tmo phone if you install the app.

for example, if the personal phone is tmobile, and the iPhone is Verizon, you can install digits on the iPhone, and if you leave your personal phone home, you can send/receive a text or make a call through your personal number but on the work phone. This means you do not need to worry about giving out both numbers or keeping both phones on you at all times.
